HALF WAY THERE!!! Another amazing day. After my mammoth session online last night – I was updating the blog until after the clock ticked over – I got lazy this morning and skipped the exercise bit. On the plus side, though, I did go for my long walk at lunch, AND had some absolutely incredible ‘coincidences’ happening to me again.
First off, I thought about the intern offer hard overnight. This morning I realised that my resistance was because there was one part of what I was trying to manifest that it didn’t fit – the part about the same or better lifestyle. Then I got to thinking, I don’t actually know what he considers “not much” – it could very well be enough to keep my payments up. In any case, I’ve decided to go for it, so it’s on the to-do list for this Thursday night when I have my ‘work’ night for the internet business.
Then, during the day, I got notice that one of the guys I mentioned by name as being my ideal to work with – Mark Joyner (of Simpleology fame) – is running a competition in which he’s going to pick 3 people to turn them into best selling authors. A partnership type deal like that is JUST what I was dreaming of, so for sure that one’s going in as well. It definitely feels as though the alternative options to my current job are starting to flow in, which is the point of what I was aiming to do – and I’ve still only got half way! You should see me bouncing around with excitement right now… π I’ll post my entry video here when I’ve done it.
I brought my two lotteries cheques in today so I could try to drop them in to the bank if I got there on time (didn’t) but part way through the day came across them in my bag and had a half whimsical thought “wouldn’t it be nice if there was another one waiting for me when I get home”. Guess what! It’s getting almost beyond a joke now how fast they’re coming in. I was at the mailbox and saw it, so of course I went “YES!” – my neighbour was driving in and commented that it sounded like good news, and had I won the lotto or something? I didn’t know what to say. Then she said that if I had, she wanted some. (Why is it that people think that they have an automatic right to a share in ‘good luck’ just by knowing someone who had some?) In any case, I told her it was something I was expecting, and I didn’t know yet. Well, I hadn’t actually opened the envelope yet, had I?
I rang my sister, and told her I had a cheque from Powerball again, and that it started with a one and a zero. I didn’t dwell much on the fact that there was a dot after them, but hey, it’s more towards my monitor! Another $9.35 and I’ll have reached the first hundred. Oh, and by the way, the weather’s still fine, and getting hotter. Blue skies for pretty much all of today. The sound is staying off on that $5k video, now, and I’m exploring how to remove it from the video altogether! π
So, the checklist:
Manifestation course – Morning routine -> Did the core part of it, then decided self-care was the order of the day, and got another half hour sleep π
Daily Awakening OR Daily Email exercises (not going to push for both for a while) -> Daily awakening again. Wanted half an hour for the exercise, but I only had 10m. It was a ‘stillness’ exercise that sounded really good so I’ll be doing it this weekend for sure.
5mins of handbook -> Got through heaps. Finished Chapter 2, and up to Chapter 3 now, p38. I’m also loading it onto my Palm Pilot so the weekend’s issue doesn’t happen again.
Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk -> Part of it at lunch, then the rest when I got home. Timing is perfect, because I’ve just got through the bit about the goals dialog technique I need to use in the manual. Wonder if that’s why I was never able to make myself do it before..
Watch $5k per day Subliminal Video at least twice, work on getting to 20m. Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed -> Love my Mind Movie, played that twice with no problems. The $5k video I played 4 times, after I spent some time searching on how to remove the audio from it. So far no luck, so meanwhile I’m just muting the sound every time I play it. With the weather getting this nice, no way I’m putting the rain back!
Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me. -> Yup. This one’s not hard. Tonight I added the RSS subscription so you can get the updates delivered to your reader or email. Top right.
Blog update in evening & BWE track before sleep (combining these to one entry) -> Yes, and very glad I did. Woke naturally somewhere between 4:30 and 5am (after getting to bed after midnight) but went back to sleep until the alarm at 5:30. Did the core parts of the morning routine but heart wasn’t in it for exercise & meditation so made a self-care decision and got another half hour. Got lots of exercise in during the day instead.
Inspired Action: Including this since I’ve noticed the best days are after I’ve taken some action I felt right about, so maybe by focusing I’ll find more right actions to do. Today’s was following up on an email link about Mark Joyner’s competition – way cool!
Back from Canberra and boy did I have fun down there. I tell you it’s amazing how different a lifestyle you can live without changing how much you spend, just by changing your perceptions.
For fun, I’m now going to include a weekly run down of what I’ve manifested so far, including the internal changes. At the end of Week 2, here’s my first one:
Week 1
Week 2
first nibble about a dream job
confirmed transfer at work
published in the paper
large 32″ monitor for home office – YAY!
threat of retrenchment gone (which prompted this trial in the first placeβ¦)
really garbage weather!?! (but managed to change it once I realised)
QE2 tickets, sort of (see day 4)
beautiful weather for weekend
increased energy levels
largest ever powerball win (over $50)
better mental clarity
10% of screen covered from unexpected income
more calm & relaxed
luxury hotel accommodation (see below)
sleeping better / needing less sleep
initial ‘job nibble’ position now advertised
outlook & mood improvements
further mental clarity improvements
improved motivation (getting stuck into outstanding projects)
yet more calm & relaxed
energy levels more under control
So, now to the weekend’s story. Saturday morning, knowing I wouldn’t be able to do things on Sunday, I made sure I got up and ran through my routine, despite having my partner over. I stuck with the theme of taking it relatively easy on the workout, but even so managed to make a small improvement, which was nice. The checklist for yesterday is below:
Manifestation course – Morning routine -> Did the entire thing, including my 20m meditation, first thing. Kept with the self-care theme from this week during exercise.
Daily Awakening OR Daily Email exercises (not going to push for both for a while) -> Read the daily awakening and planned on doing the exercise from it in the evening once we were settled in to the hotel
5mins of handbook -> also planned for the evening. Except that I let myself get flustered by my partner standing by not very patiently watching me pack, and ended up forgetting to put this in. In lieu, I did 23 pages of a 67p ‘secrets’ type manual that also came with the course.
Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk -> Trying it from Monday.
Watch $5k per day Subliminal Video at least twice, work on getting to 20m. Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed -> Watched $5k per day 3 times, still without sound, plus Mind Movie also 3 times. Weather cleared up. Still some grey clouds, but mostly fine and got very hot on Sunday.
Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me. -> Did this Saturday morning, looks like I’m doing it again tonight loading all this stuff up, even though that wasn’t my intention. Oh well, will have to make sure I play the BWE stuff tonight.
Blog update in evening & BWE track before sleep (combining these to one entry) -> Didn’t do it yesterday, as per the plans already posted. Doing them both tonight, definitely.
Now, to the luxury hotel and job ad bit. In planning for this trip, I usually like to use websites like wotif.com.au, lastminute.com.au or ratestogo.com.au – this time I saw a special come through in the email from wotif that offered some amazing value.
Canberra – Saville Park Suites Canberra Β» Down to $177 from $340 – 4Β½ star
Shopping at Saville. Includes room upgrade,
bottle of wine, buffet breakfast for 2, $30
voucher for the Canberra Centre & parking.
For some reason, I read it and thought it said Savoy! Best bit was that with the upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite, I had a bath. Very nice after I got my feet walked off me the first afternoon… Plus I got to close the door and do my meditation stuff in the bedroom while he vegged out in front of the TV, so we were both happy.
I took some photos, and played with flickr to get a slideshow together. This 30 day blogging trial is teaching me some amazing new tricks!

And the last thing, when I went online tonight I noticed a new post over at the site of the Internet Marketing guy I was talking about back on Day 1, who I was talking with about the possibility of a job. Turns out, he’s now decided to advertise for an ‘intern’ type position. Now I’m REALLY faced with a crunch. Do I follow my dreams and trust that somehow my mortgage will get covered (he says it’s not going to pay much) by what I’m learning, or do I stick with what I’ve got and take the slower road to freedom? Or should I go the whole hog and chase the number one option, which is partnership with Rich Schefren – especially since I know how many things he has going on at the moment? Argh. Some serious thinking to do… I think I need to manifest some guidance!
Managed to get the whole routine done this morning!! Woo hoo!!!! Not only that, but got through most of the rest of it (except the walk, surprise surprise). Also found that my motivation is spreading and I got stuck into something I’ve been procrastinating on for a few weeks now – feels good to have it done. There are two revisions to the routine today which I think will make it work better for me, or at least will make it fit better into my lifestyle – as it is anyway. Of course I’ll have to revise it all once I’m working from home π
Checklist:
Manifestation course – Morning routine
–> FINALLY DID IT ALL!!! Helped that my partner was picking me up, so I didn’t have to be so panicked about time, but got through the entire lot. Amazing! Decided to do my yoga DVD this morning for a change – there’s the equivalent of 3 DVDs on it, the first being Yoga for Flexibility. I did that one. No surprises there, I’m drastically un-flexible. Felt pretty good twisting and stretching though, so it fitted right in with the self-care theme I’m going with this week.
Daily Awakening OR Daily Email exercises (not going to push for both for a while)
–> Even the Daily Awakening’s getting more intensive. Involved a 25m contemplation of “Who I really am” today. Not sure if it’s sleep deprivation or the cumulative effects of two weeks of lots of meditation (plus yoga this morning) but I came to the conclusion that “I” (ego) am the equivalent of one lens on the eye of a fly. Stay with me here: my thought was that my experience is one facet of a larger awarenesses experience of life. I’m part of the larger awareness, but don’t truly exist or have meaning independent of it. I’m connected to the other lives around me but unique and therefore valuable in myself.
It’s either very deep, or I need more sleep. Or maybe both. Decided that with this level of involvement for these I’m going to do either/or for it from now on.
5mins of handbook
–> I finished off yesterday’s exercise today. Didn’t read any more of the book, but took way longer than 5m on just doing that, so I’m crossing this one off as done. Means I’ve got a fresh start to read/do exercises over the weekend, and/or after my day off on Sun.
Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk
–> This is the one thing I didn’t manage to do, but I have had an idea of how I can work it in. I’m thinking that if I drop my stuff home and then go for this walk immediately, it’ll combine a good de-stress/wind down with the manifestation routine, and motivate me to get stuck into my other stuff when I get back home again. Will try it from Monday.
–> Watched $5k per day 5 times, still without sound, plus Mind Movie twice. Loving the lyrics to that song. The weather’s clearing, too. Still not totally dry, but more dry than wet now, and improving. Sunday’s meant to be clear and sunny, now, so the forecasters have changed their mind. Bizarre coincidence, or is this stuff way more powerful than I thought?!?
Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me.
–> I was right yesterday – didn’t do my walk. Actually, got so caught up at work that I didn’t do my lunch either, not until after I got home. I did, however, finally get motivated to do something I’ve been putting off for a month. A very positive sign, and a weight off my chest. Have done my hour here, and meanwhile discovered a really cool video conferencing site in beta called ‘Oovoo‘ – it even lets you record your video conferences!
Blog update in evening & BWE track before sleep (combining these to one entry)
–> Writing this a bit later today. I dropped off listening to BWE last night but won’t get to do it tonight – need to charge the mp3 player up. It’s been getting a good workout this week, and then some!
So, although I’m hesitant to say it in case I jinx myself, it looks like I might finally be starting to get a handle on the routine. That should mean I do better on sleep this week, which can only help. Just a reminder, tomorrow night’s entry won’t go up until Sunday when I’ll load them both.
Take care and have a great weekend! (I intend to…)
I think the sleep thing is finally catching up to me. Yesterday I didn’t drop off until after midnight, maybe closer to 1, and I was being picked up at 6am, so the alarm went off before 5. I started with the best of intentions, and focussed on my goals first thing. Next thing I know I’ve got 10m to get ready and I was in a mad scramble. That’s not happened in a while…
After my ponderings last night, it was interesting that the weather was clear today. It even got stinking hot for a while. You can see from the photo that a lot of yesterday’s cloud was all of a sudden not hovering over NSW anymore. Bizarre. My partner was complaining this morning, though, that for 3 days running it had bucketed down just as he was finishing work, so of course he was convinced it would happen again. Funnily enough, it did. I’m still working on having the beautiful weather I want for the weekend visit with family, and for the most part today fit. So, of course, I’ve been playing $5k without any sound and I’ll keep on doing it for the next few days. Forecasts even as late as yesterday were for rain all weekend. It’ll be interesting to see how it pans out. Haven’t yet found the twilight zone track, but may yet need to…
Checklist:
Manifestation course – Morning routine
–> Um, does it count if I don’t actually do it in the morning? All but the exercise, again. I’m starting to see a pattern here…
Daily Awakening & Daily Email exercises
–> Nope. Forgot all about them. Too mad a rush this morning.
5mins of handbook
–> Funnily enough, coming home I stopped off at the local cafe and did a large part of the exercise I’ve had outstanding for however many days now. It was a timeline type thing, and at first I found myself being very conservative in what I imagined I could accomplish in 30 days, a year etc etc. Then I caught myself and went “what the heck”. If I manage to achieve any of these, there’ll be no doubt these techniques work something amazing.
Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk
–> Brought my lunch again today. As with the morning meditation, it’s getting pretty clear that the physical stuff is my weak point, so I’ll work on that.
–> Watched $5k per day 4 times (without sound), plus Mind Movie twice.
Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me.
–> Yes, but only just. Tonight I’ve actually spent most of my evening cleaning up and making the place nice after cooking a mushroom stroganoff from scratch. With a lunch like that tomorrow, I suspect I won’t be walking then, either π
Blog update in evening
–> Yes, earliest in a week! Looks like I might get to bed before 11pm tonight!
–> Did it last night. Suspect I’d be a wreck without having done it.
Oh, one other thing I forgot, almost. Yesterday evening I had the impulse to clear out and change bags. In the process I discovered another cheque for $19.80. Along with the Powerball one, that puts me just over $80 – 10% of what I need for the monitor, all come in unexpectedly. Woo hoo! Now I’m wondering if there’s any way I can manifest a ticket to the Rich Schefren conference between now and the end of February. Preferably business or first class π Hmm. Wonder does he need another presenter, or assistant, or intelligence analyst, maybe, even?
Nearly wasn’t able to post today, since we’ve got incredible thunderstorms going. They’re apparently going to last the rest of the week, and possibly into the weekend. So, if you don’t see me post one night, that’s probably why. I’ll write it up and save it for when I’m not likely to get my PC fried. π
Today had a slow start. I did get through pretty much all of my morning stuff, and even went over on the meditation, but there were a few things that dropped off. Doing all this while working full time is a bit more than I expected. Still finding resistance to getting back into the manual, so may have to ease off on that and make it every 2 days instead. After all, it’s not like I’m not doing the rest of the material they gave me anyway.
The weather is still absolutely shocking. Was clear briefly during the day, then torrential in the afternoon/evening as I was coming home. Luckily I got picked up, but even so just getting into the car was enough to leave me pretty sopping. I had a look at the Bureau of Meteorology – this is what Australia looks like at the moment. That does it, I’m buying wellington boots. I still haven’t got my laundry from the weekend dry, it’s been that bad, so thank heavens (pardon the pun) for clothes dryers…
So, down to the Checklist:
Manifestation course – Morning routine
–> Slow, but done except for exercise. I think I need to get better at doing routines π
Daily Awakening & Daily Email exercises
–> Did the awakening one, but wasn’t hooked up to get the email until tonight. So, tomorrow
5mins of handbook
–> As I mentioned above, I’m finding a lot of resistance to this. It’s very intensive, and on top of full time work, which is pretty intense itself leading up to my transfer, I’m having motivation issues. Will give myself a bit of leeway this week, and next week do it every second day I think. Sometimes, just taking the pressure off gets it all going again. We can hope.
Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk
–> In this weather, nuh uh. Did extra on the meditation to make up.
–> Watched $5k per day 3 times, plus Mind Movie also 3 times.
Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me.
–> Yup, once the thunder & lightning stopped. Am discovering all kinds of cool ways to make this blog work better. Comment if you like the ‘previous’ and ‘next’ buttons on each post page. Because this is getting so involved, I’ve also had to resort to the ‘read more’ thing on the front page (doesn’t shorten the entries anywhere else, though).
Blog update in evening
–> Take this as a given. Advance warning: Saturday night’s will be going up with Sunday’s.
–> Yes, although I think I need to get better earphones. Not very comfortable to lie on. Energy levels are much better for doing it, though. Noticeably. Even with very little sleep I’m turning into a bit of an eveready bunny…
A week and a half in, I’m already noticing changes in my general outlook and mood – definitely for the better. Even if the manifestation bit wasn’t working, I think it’d be worth using some of these techniques for that bonus alone. But it is working. So much so that I’m now wondering whether all this garbage weather might be somehow related to spending so much time watching the $5k per day video, which has a backing track of thunder and rain. It definitely stepped up after I went from 2 views to 20m, so it’s either the weirdest coincidence or ‘there are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio” stuff. Hmm. Maybe I should try a few days with the sound off and see? We’re forecast for this to go right through the weekend. If it starts clearing tomorrow, I’ll be uploading the twilight zone theme for sure!
Today was a good day, all up. I got through most of my really pressing stuff at work, not surprising considering that I virtually had to wade through rivers with umbrella in hand to go inside and make a coffee (or whatever) – even worse than yesterday – so I tended to stay at the desk again. Then the torrents would ease off a bit and I’d make another mad dash to top up my caffeine. Drinking lots more of it than I normally do, but hey, it’s better than some habits, right?
I got up in time to do my full routine, only I slacked off a bit and ended up running out of time, so the meditation waited. I did, however, do my exercise. I was feeling like I really didn’t want to, so I looked a bit into why and it seemed to be because I’d been pushing myself so hard I really didn’t think I had much further I could go without falling over. So I took a different tack today – considering that approach had the scales going upwards last week, this week I’m targeting the stress levels instead of the calorie consumption, and took it easy. You know how they say that working out at a slower pace means you burn a greater proportion of energy as fat? It’s always held true for me, so I targeted staying above 15kph instead of shooting for the 20 I reached last week. Reluctance melted away and I enjoyed my workout, so I’ll stick with that this week. I think it was a valuable reminder that the point of doing it was to reconnect with my body, not punish it.
The meditation got saved for a bit later, and I set myself up to do it during my break at work. I was going great through it, except about 5m from the end the charge on the mp3 player ran out. π These things are rapidly becoming parts of my day that I look forward to and get a lot of enjoyment from. I spent the rest of the working day recharging, and enjoyed playing it after I got home, although I did a few other things first.
Checklist:
Manifestation course – Morning routine
–> All done except for meditation
Daily Awakening & Daily Email exercises
–> Managed this by slotting awakening reading to after morning routine, and email for morning tea break at work
5mins of handbook
–> Again didn’t do this one. Knowing there’s an hour plus exercise yet to do, and likely at least another one as soon as I start reading is a bit off putting, especially since I’m doing the emails etc anyway. Slotting time in tomorrow but may end up being a bit more selective about what exercises I do from this
Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk
–> Again way too wet. Thinking of buying a boat – would that make it a ’15m goals row’?
–> Watched $5k per day for the 7 times again, plus Mind Movie twice while waiting for a bus
Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me.
–> definitely. Came home and spent a while updating a site and putting up the links for a $30 discount version of the $5k per day – figure since google is sending people my way looking for it and I want to cover the monitor cost, it’s a win win worth trying..
–> Did this last night and reckon I’d not have got half as much sleep without it. Got a solid 4 1/2 hrs in despite hot weather. Muggy again tonight so definitely pulling it out again.
The routine is starting to settle but the information overload continues. It’s like trying to simultaneously read 3 books on the same topic, and it doesn’t help that all of them include time consuming exercises (although none so much as the handbook). I can understand why, since most people never act on stuff they buy and they obviously wanted to make sure that at least one form of the course would be followed, but it’s seriously difficult when you try to do all the stuff that’s ‘due’ for each day. Still, I’m only just over a week into it, maybe I’ll settle down into the habit in a few more days and start finding it easier. I can hope so, anyway.
I hardly know where to start today. I think I got all of an hour’s sleep overnight, so the morning routine was drastically cut short so I could get ready in time for my lift. I missed the exercise but did the meditation later. Despite that, I was still able to stay fairly well awake and aware for the day, and got through a HUGE pile of work. It was pouring rain, which they reckon is going to be the pattern for the week. π I had to use the umbrella every time I needed to duck inside to the ‘ladies’ facilities’ from the demountable I’m in – for the next 2 weeks anyway – so I tended to stay at the desk and plow through the stuff I had.
On the bright side, I did finally manage to go through my $5k per day video the whole 7 times it took for a 20 m session! Next step is to do it all at once, but I kept finding myself nodding off when I tried .
Now to the interesting stuff: it seems like what I’m doing is pulling in all the old
‘wishlist’ stuff I have been coming up with for the past few years, all at once. Yesterday I discovered a 32″ monitor on ebay, for only $800. That was on my dream list, since with my eyes as they are after surgery back in 02, the smaller the screen the bigger the eyestrain. (I’ve got to say, I’m lucky to have as much sight as I do, since I’d lost 3/4 of it before the operation – the guy was a miracle worker and I’m very grateful. That was one of the scariest experiences I’ve ever been through, and I was blessed I got the best surgeon out on the case.) Working with a screen like this would just be such a relief.
Next question, of course, was how to raise the funds. I’m tossing up some ideas (would anyone be interested in getting a copy of $5k per day video themselves through me if I could negotiate a discount, for example?) but then when I got home and checked my mail, I found a cheque from Powerball in it! I have a multi-week entry I just leave running, and occasionally will get cheques for $10 to $12 back, the bottom division, but this one was about 4x that – my biggest win so far! Doesn’t quite pay off the monitor, but I’m taking that as a good sign that the prosperity stuff is starting to take hold. And it’s only been a week…
So, checklist and then to bed so I can exercise tomorrow:
Manifestation course – Morning routine
–> Half done, minus the exercise and postponing meditation
Daily Awakening & Daily Email exercises
–> Fit the email part in to morning tea, worked ok. Try to fit the awakening thing in after the morning routine tomorrow & will let you know.
5mins of handbook
–> No, didn’t do this one. Still haven’t found the hour to do the last exercise. It’s a bit overwhelming when you have some major assignment every page and a half. Oh well. It’s working, anyway, seems like.
Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk
–> No way was I walking in this weather! Brought my lunch…
–>Twenty minutes or 7 times 2:50 – I DID IT!!! (Without falling asleep, even better!)
Work on my Mind Movie and BWE track in week 1. Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed
–> Since they’re both completed now, this can turn into playing it, and I’ll tie it in to the point above from tomorrow. Yes, I watched it. I love the energy rush it gives me, being such a personal thing.
Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me.
–> Yes, did this. Also discovered how to use Google Desktop to launch programs and files so I can clean my desktop off. Really cool. Lifehacker.com blogger Adam Pash showed me the trick at Get More from Google Desktop
Blog update in evening
–> Almost Done. By the time you read this it will be. π
–> Missed this yesterday, maybe one of the reasons I didn’t sleep so well. Definitely going to use it tonight, they’re forecasting hot nights as well as wet days this week.
This morning I discovered that having someone stay over wreaks havoc with a routine too. I got some of it done, and when I checked through the list I realised that it tells you to do it SIX days a week. Woo hoo, day off!!!
Despite that, I still watched my $5k per day Subliminal Video – twice. Plus I did the visualisation and energy raising part of the morning routine before I realised (that left just the exercise and meditation which I skipped). I wasn’t sure if I should make myself do the manual or email exercises, but there were a few other things I really wanted to get done so I let myself cross them off the list.
I did, however, finally finish my Mind Movie. Very pleased with how it
came out. I let my imagination go wild and placed no limits on it – the dreams in it will go well beyond the 30 days but hey, if the universe wants to manifest them faster for me I’m not going to stand in the way!
I’ve uploaded it to You Tube, which means I get to drop it in below.
I’ve downloaded it to my palm pilot as well, so I can watch it on the fly during the day.
Not having done most of the routine today (although I definitely did keep the goals in mind) there’s not that much more to share, so this is going to be a nice, short post for a change π
Got back into the swing of it today, since the earliest thing I had to worry about, being a Saturday, was an 11.30 appointment in town. Once I figured I’d need to catch the 11.04 bus, I was right to take my time. I did. π Love weekends.
Checklist:
Manifestation course – Morning routine
–> Done, but I saved the meditation for later: on the massage chairs at the shopping centre after my appointment. Way to do it! Made more fitness gains – 6.9k this time. Pushed the whole way, and the top could have been wrung out afterwards.
Daily Awakening & Daily Email exercises
–>This seems to be the same as with the walk. It’s not slotting in neatly into my day, so it’s dropping off most days. I’m going to try doing the first as part of my morning routine, and the second in my first break at work.
5mins of handbook
–> Got my 5 pages done – 2 exercises, one of which I did for over an hour, the second of which they said would take an hour so I’ve pencilled it in for tomorrow. Up to p32 now, part way through Ch2. It’s pretty intense stuff – definitely not a ‘cover to cover quick read’.
Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk
–> Nope. During the work week I can now slot it into lunch but it didn’t fit nearly so neatly into a weekend. Might have to think on how to do this.
–>Three times today. I’m not going to push it too quickly. I can work up to this.
Work on my Mind Movie and BWE track in week 1. Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed
–> Nope, aside from a bit of brainstorming as to Mind Movie content.
Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me.
–> Done. Have also written finishing off the Mind Movie into tomorrows schedule.
Blog update in evening
–> Done. Even added the “share this” social media buttons to my blog template. I’d love to see this catch a bit of interest. Please do me a favour and add it to your favourite site?
–> Helped again yesterday. This is one habit I’ll probably keep after the trial.
This morning after finishing my morning routine I had a bit of an energy rush, and found myself almost bouncing. Considering I’m a large size woman that’s a scary thing. With any luck it will help me become not so large a woman, but it’s not done anything that way so far. The scales are steady, if not climbing. On the bright side, the fitness is definitely increasing and if I had to choose between losing weight and gaining fitness my choice would very much go to the fitness side. As Jon of MPower says – if you just want to lose 10 pounds you can accomplish it by chopping off an arm. Considering how well this manifesting thing seems to be working so far, I don’t want to tempt fate. I’ve had no end of examples in the past where I wasn’t so careful what I asked for and then, unfortunately, got it.
My 11.30 in town was with one of the members of my support network, who told me I looked like I was glowing – so much so that as I walked in the first thing she said was “you’ve got a job!” and got excited for me. People like that are wonderful to have around, aren’t they? I told her the long and short of what’s going on right now, and she was great about the goals I’d set and totally believes in me to achieve them. Personal belief in yourself is one thing, and I think it’s a critical part of achieving, but there is nothing like someone else’s faith in you to push you to a whole new level.
I did find, though, that after a morning with energy levels at max, and then some, when I met up with someone who spent most of their time being disparaging to whatever we were discussing, it really, REALLY, hit me. I ended up so drained that when I got home I decided to have an afternoon nap, and by all accounts, serenaded the neighbours for an hour. I wondered if it was something similar to what they say about love. I think it goes that if you want love, you’ve got to take the risk of being vulnerable enough to be hurt. I certainly never thought the same would apply to simple energy levels! Maybe it’s something in my belief system I need to look at? Later, though. For now this program is enough to deal with, I think.
Oh yes, another side effect of the BWE track and/or the program – Besides getting up early without feeling so worn out as I used to, I’m finding I’m not getting tired until much later, either. But then when I plug myself in, I drop out like a light. From someone who’s suffered from months, if not years, of insomnia while I went through the bad patch at work, I can really appreciate how much of a blessing that is!
So, tomorrow I already have two things to add to my list: complete the Mind Movie, and do my 1hr exercise from the book – plus whatever new exercises are in the next 5 pages! I’ll get back to you how long it actually takes π
I don’t know where the time’s gone. Friday today, last day for the week at the day job, but since I’m now supposed to wind up my placement it turned absolutely MAD. Very glad I’ve been destressing this week, or my hair would be pretty frazzled by now. Aside from all the stuff that all needs to be done simultaneously, somehow, it’s times like this that systems love to crash, data goes missing and bizarre things start occurring in your Word documents…
Today I decided to do something different. It was an early morning again, even more so since I had a conference call across the tasman scheduled for 6am. But I didn’t feel like yet another morning on the bike, so I used an exercise DVD I have of ‘African Healing Dance’. Even without the little counter thing to judge how hard I worked, I still ended up pretty wet by the end of it. I ran out of time to do the meditation (so saved that for a break at work). Ran out of time for the conversation (had to bolt for the shower) and did a 15 minute miracle dash to be ready on time.
Checklist:
Manifestation course:
Morning routine –> Done, 40m without the meditation part. Did that later. 1hr all up.
Daily Awakening exercise –> Tried, didn’t. All these exercises – this, the email and the book, are all so similar it seems like duplication. Hard to feel motivated to do them all when you’re running behind.
Daily Email exercise –> Again, didn’t really fit into my day, especially with it ending up so mad with work. As above, tried.
5mins of handbook –> Didn’t manage to do this one either. Worked late, came back to the local club, didn’t get home til late and then after tea spent time with my partner.
Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk –>This really isn’t looking good, is it? Nope here too.
Watch $5k per day Subliminal Video at least once daily, preferably twice –> Got this up to 3 times. About the only thing I did right today…
Work on my Mind Movie and BWE track in week 1. –> Sorry, no.
Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed –> Not yet. By Sunday I hope.
Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me. –> Done but was just on some urgent errand stuff. Didn’t get any more done on mind movie.
Blog update in evening –> I’m managing this one, but only just.
BWE track before sleep –> I think I would have been even worse off getting up early without this. It’s turning out a lifesaver while I adapt to the routine.
Keeping the entry short today. Thought I hadn’t done too badly, all things considered, until I considered all things in the checklist. The morning call running over really threw me, and the chaos at work kept me off balance as well. We’ll see how well I get back on track tomorrow.
