Was meant to be going to a meeting this morning, had arranged release from work for it, but after yesterday just had to call in and say sorry. I spent most of the day with my leg up resting – when my partner came over after lunch he helped me get up and got me some water for painkillers so I could get moving again. Needless to say, having been travelling all yesterday I hadn’t been focusing on any conscious healing. I went into the medical centre where some confusion emerged as to whether I do or don’t have a fracture. My regular doctor is back tomorrow so I’ll get the actual x rays to her, but one thing’s sure – all the stairs and walking on Monday seems to have set me back a bit, and visualisation of healing doesn’t do much for pain. It seems to promote a lot of itching, actually, more than anything else. With the Dr I saw telling me it was just tissue damage, I didn’t use the crutches much once I got home, but I was feeling it by the time I got to bed.
I was pretty much 100% focused on healing and health today, so again the routine went to the backburner. I did get some of it done, though, including finally getting a tweak done to play the audio I wanted while watching a sound free version of the 5k per day video.
Checklist:
- Manifestation course – Morning routine -> Not for the targets of this trial. I kinda did a bit towards healing though.
- MP3 Audio lesson -> Skipped this one with no train journey today
- ‘Abundance’ guided manifestation -> Yes, in the morning while I was stuck in bed.
- 5mins of handbook -> No, skipped this one too.
- Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk -> Again no.
- Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me. -> About an hour, wasn’t watching time exactly.
- Blog update in evening & BWE track before sleep -> Healing BWE while waiting at the Drs. Wrote blog entry for later upload. BWE on sleep as well.
- Inspired Action: –> Fixing my 5k per day track, and blogging onto paper
There’s a bit of a conflict between the goals of the trial, the sense of obligation to the new place and the self-care aspects of healing right now, so none of them are getting the time or attention they really deserve. My first priority right now is to clarify exactly what is wrong with my regular Dr tomorrow so I can direct my focus and make my decisions accordingly – while it would have been great to find out there was no break and I could pretty much walk around normally, having tried it today I’m really feeling something wrong tonight. We’ll see.
First day at the new job today, made all the more fun by trying to get there on crutches.
I told them I’d learnt to fly on the weekend, and made it all the way to the bottom of the stairs without my feet touching them, but I still had some work to do on the landing part…
Most of the setup was ready for me, except of course for a few last minute hiccups, most of which I’d expected. I was up and running before lunch, though, and helping out for the meeting on Thursday I was going to be presenting. They seem like nice people up there, except that they seem to have heard some of the slanders I know were being spread about me before, because they’re already trying to put extra ‘supervision’ measures onto me. While they reassure themselves about me and learn what I’m really like, I don’t mind so much playing along, I just hope they give me credit and loosen the reins a bit down the track once they know me better – I don’t work well under micro-management. I don’t think anyone does.
On the way up, people couldn’t be helpful enough, holding the door open for me on the train etc. Unfortunately, there was no lift on that side of the station when I arrived, so I had a heap of steps to face as well as the 10m (more like 20 on crutches) walk. Got there, though, and was very glad I’d thought to pack deodorant. π Spent a lot of the day in orientation and meeting people, as well as setting up and fixing those last minute things. Didn’t finish til 4.30 and didn’t make the train station til 4:53 (caught every light), where I’d just missed a train. There was a 5.06 but I knew it was an all stations that would be overtaken by the next one, due at 5:14, so I waited. Got on the carriage marked disability, and of course everyone in those seats was asleep. One lady got up from a regular seat, so I got to sit down, but with my leg twisted a bit awkwardly to keep it extended out into the aisle. Funnily enough, the lady in the main ‘disabled’ seat, wearing sunglasses, had a funny little smile on her face after the other lady gave up her seat, which wasn’t there before. I really don’t know how people cope with this long term. It’s hard enough being temporarily ‘mobility challenged’. Then, arriving in to the station on the other end, I discovered both lifts were out of order, so I had the equivalent of 4 flights of steps to deal with, two up and two down. By the end of it I was gasping. I got home and my whole leg was throbbing, as well as my arms aching from the work. I ended up having to take painkillers and get an early night, so didn’t get through much of the routine.
Checklist:
- Manifestation course – Morning routine -> Parts 1 & 2 got done, even did the meditation. Exercise was a no, although I got plenty during the day…
- MP3 Audio lesson -> Yes, the introduction is done. There are 24 parts to the audio course I’m using.
- 5mins of handbook -> No, I was intending to, but was too awkwardly seated coming home and then was just too sore.
- Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk -> Again no.
- Watch $5k per day Subliminal Video at least twice, work on getting to 20m. Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed -> Mind Movie once. Didn’t get to see $5k per day.
- Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me. -> No, early night after the painkillers kicked in.
- Blog update in evening & BWE track before sleep -> No to both of these as well.
- Inspired Action: –-> Wasn’t feeling very inspired at all today. Just exhausted.
All in all this week was pretty successful, and certainly has had the biggest “highs” so far, even if it did end up with me breaking a leg (hmm, maybe because I was hoping to go on stage?)
The job type stuff has started turning up, and with Monday being the start of the new transfer location, it’s going to be interesting to see what clashes happen between doing that and maintaining this routine. I’ve now got so many ‘compromise’ options showing up that it’s getting harder and harder to hold the dream image in my sights. There are going to be plenty of challenges for the next week with just the physical injuries I’m dealing with, so I might need your positive thoughts and prayers sent my way.
Here’s my prayer:
Let me have the strength to remember the dream I hold, and to maintain my focus on it when distractions and compromises try to pull my attention away. Help me, Great Spirit, to keep my eye on the goal, and direct my efforts to its achievement.
Now, for the roundup.

After my post earlier today, I spent most of today inside resting up. Tomorrow’s going to be huge with my first day at a new job, travelling to it on crutches (orientation’s going to be fun) and working out how I can keep going with my routine. I’ve decided on two fairly big changes.
First, since I no longer have to worry about losing my job, I think I’ll bump up the option of earning more online myself, rather than trying to come in underneath someone already doing it. With the luxury of time now on my side, I think building up my own offerings so that I’m creating and giving value online already is a much better position to approach someone for a partnership. The new target is to have helped people sufficient that I end up with $30,000 in my Paypal account. Of course, it could come from something as simple as cleaning up and offering things on ebay, but I’d love it if it came from something like this blog helping point people to the resources and things they’re looking for themselves. That would be such a buzz! (PS comment me if you ARE looking for something in this area and want the fruits of my research to help you shortcut your search…)
Secondly, with a lot of the daily emails and daily affirmations being repetitions of the same things I’m going through in the manual, I’ve decided to replace that option with a different media altogether. I have mp3 training tracks that I’ve not been doing, so now I’m going to be travelling to & from work on the train, I’m going to slot those in.
Minor changes for the moment – the goals walk I’ve already mentioned will become a dialog exercise. The 20m exercise in the morning I’m going to try to alternate upper body exercises at night (watching tv) with stretches, but avoiding the hip and leg that I’m still mending. So, the morning routine no longer contains exercise. I’ll still be trying to do the bouncing, but seated – I don’t want to give up the benefits from that one!
Now, for the Checklist:
- Manifestation course – Morning routine -> No to this morning. Aside from company over, I was also working out how I’d be able to modify it.
- MP3 Audio lesson -> This starts tomorrow in lieu of the daily email stuff I’ve not been able to do stuck at home
- 5mins of handbook -> Got through this, now up to p55. With my foot up all day, wasn’t hard. Talking about levels of personal vibration and how as you developed higher levels your manifestation worked faster, up to the point where it was theoretically possible that a being (like, say, Jesus for example) could have manifested something like a ring in his hand instantaneously. I started thinking that if you were that connected with everything that you were vibrating at such a high level, the irony would be that you would probably feel less inclined to change anything from the ‘perfection’ it already was. I might post something on this to the 3rdmillenniummindset.com blog in a day or two.
- Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk -> About to become a 15m dialog exercise, again starting tomorrow.
- Watch $5k per day Subliminal Video at least twice, work on getting to 20m. Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed -> Mind Movie twice. Looks really tiny on the new monitor. $5k per day five times.
- Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me. -> With all the setting up to be done on the new screen, did this easily tonight. Discovered how hard it is to find desktop wallpaper for a 1360×768 resolution screen – I used to use webshots but they assume that if you have a widescreen you need to pay them money for what a standard screen gets for free. Found the No Wai! blog that gives it away for free, and through them a site called DeviantArt that had some really cool images.
- Blog update in evening & BWE track before sleep (combining these to one entry) -> YES! Finally! The BWE track last night, of course, was the healing one, and will be again tonight, but I’m counting it anyway because it’s still a form of manifestation I’m doing with it.
- Inspired Action: –> Took the bandages off after they got wet. Made my leg feel normal and healthy again, so I’ve left them off. I’ll have to do it up again for work tomorrow, but for now I’m enjoying the sensation of being able to walk freely…
You know how I said it was normal for obstacles to come up just before you reach your goals? Well I came up against a doozy. On my way to go pick up the new big screen monitor yesterday (day 20), I missed a step coming out of my apartment, and landed at the bottom without my feet ever touching the ground. Of course, the bits that did touch on the way down are now all kinds of
wonderful colours, and the Dr tells me I have a fractured fibula, but I still got my monitor!!! I got to spend the rest of the day afterwards waiting around the hospital for various things, though, and I know why they call them “patients” (I was, he wasn’t). Didn’t get home til fairly late and didn’t feel up to setting it up let alone doing the rest of my routines, but this morning he gave it a go – thank heavens for my partner… Now it’s working I’m posting again.
I also discovered a new use for the BWE stuff I have. One of the tracks I got from a different site (currently closed to new membership, sorry) has a “healing” track I played overnight,
adding in my own visualisations. My hip was really bad yesterday, today I’m only feeling twinges so long as I don’t overdo things. After the ten tons of bandages came off my leg (they got wet and clumped up) I almost felt like I was back to normal, although admittedly I haven’t tried to go for any walks or anything today. The shin break gets my focus tonight, but not having seen any of the x-rays they took makes it a bit harder to visualise. I’m calling it “conscious healing” because that’s exactly what I’m trying to do with it, so I’ll keep you up to date on how well it continues.
Anyway, I guess the bouncing up and down and 20m exercise parts of the morning routine might have to go on hold for a while. I’ll do a full entry tonight, but for yesterday’s missed one…
- Manifestation course – Morning routine -> Got visualisations done, did my last bouncing session for a while – even if I didn’t know it at the time – but didn’t do the exercise because we had a late txt from the monitor seller asking us to come up early. I THOUGHT there’d be plenty of time afterwards…
- Daily Awakening OR Daily Email exercises (not going to push for both for a while) -> Got quite a rude awakening but not by doing these, I’m afraid.
- 5mins of handbook -> brought this to the hospital but spent most of the visit a) waiting and b) soothing impatiently pacing partner from getting frustrated with waiting.
- Guided “Money Beliefs” meditation -> Was going to do it at night with BWE, but after BWE healing session the mp3 player ran out of juice again. It’s never seen so much use, I never used to have to charge it more than once a month or so. It’s charging as we speak.
- Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk -> No. This one’s on hold until further notice, I’ll replace it with a modified version with 15m goals dialog instead.
- Watch $5k per day Subliminal Video at least twice, work on getting to 20m. Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed -> Watched Mind Movie once, $5k per day once – that was all I got in before we left to pick up my new monitor, which I hoped to see the rest on. Best laid plans, I guess..
- Blog update in evening & BWE track before sleep (combining these to one entry) -> Didn’t update yesterday, am doing it today. Played a different BWE track for healing, which seemed to work wonders on the hip I was worried about.
- Inspired Action: Going to the hospital, but not until AFTER we got the screen. Otherwise I still wouldn’t have it. Was a great test of my stress/relaxation work.
Forgot to mention for yesterday’s entry, I did have a call about one of the other jobs on offer. It was one with 3 weeks on, one week off, but travelling all over the state. Starting level would have been a backwards step, with an option to become a team leader if I was the best performer after at least 6 weeks which would have come up to my current lifestyle. The only issue is, if I start travelling to a lot of regional areas, which they said would be the main focus of the job, then odds are good I wouldn’t have internet access in a lot of places and I’d have to put my online stuff on hold. So, I think that one will be given a miss. It’s a good job, just not quite in line with what I posted as my goals.
So, today. Bit more normal, since I was heading in to the local regional office to work on that temporary setup I put up yesterday, but even so I managed to miss one bus, didn’t even see the next one, and in grabbing the next thing that came along, added yet another half hour to my travel time so I was well and truly late. I rang in, of course, but murphy was looking over my shoulder for sure this morning.
Yet another reason I need to forget about the ‘job’ lifestyle, I think! π
I woke up with a migraine, too. Took 2 tablets and a litre of water to get myself normal enough to get ready and go, but I felt too dehydrated already so I decided to skip the exercise again. I had all good intentions of drinking lots today, but didn’t, so I’ll have to make an executive decision in the morning, but I may opt for yoga since there’s not going to be quite so much of a time crunch. On the other hand, though, I am going to pick up my new screen in the morning, so I’m a bit excited about that. I did also come across something that I think can help bring in a bit more money and cross another procrastination off my list – so I took immediate action on it. More in the checklist below:
- Manifestation course – Morning routine -> Did part of it this morning, also started it again on the way home. Seemed to make more sense getting my energy up at the END of the day job work day.
- Daily Awakening OR Daily Email exercises (not going to push for both for a while) -> No, didn’t get as far as this. I do, however, have 3 that I’ve read already that I implemented during the time outside work. I also plan on continuing them over the weekend.
- 5mins of handbook -> from p47 to p52, more on the 4 laws and 3 steps of manifesting. Reading it, I started wondering whether maybe yesterday’s illness (besides the migraine, I felt like I could be coming down with something like food poisoning) could have been because I was shifting my energy so fast – I had a friend who taught me that illness was simply the body’s way of throwing off the substance it no longer wanted or that no longer matched it’s vibration, and that would definitely fit this situation… I was operating on such an energetic high for the 2 days before it!
- Guided “Money Beliefs” meditation -> This is a 20m meditation I started out doing as part of the morning routine, but then realised that was intended for a different kind of meditation and separated it. I’ve done it every day, but having skipped yesterday along with everything else, and seeing as this was one of the things by which I could tell how my energy levels were going, I’m putting it in, in it’s own right.
- Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk -> Did about 5m of mental rehearsal for it on the way home, then arrived and just gave myself a break. Slack, I know, but I felt I needed it and it didn’t feel right to push.
- Watch $5k per day Subliminal Video at least twice, work on getting to 20m. Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed -> Watched Mind Movie 3 times again – it’s really handy on the palm pilot on the bus, although I sometimes wonder what the other passengers think when they see me grinning insanely by the end of it. $5k per day was played three times tonight.
- Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me. -> Yes, I just wanted to get straight on and take more inspired actions – the closer your dreams get the more you want to do!
- Blog update in evening & BWE track before sleep (combining these to one entry) -> Blog updated with both yesterday and today, tonight. Didn’t listen to BWE last night, and had a really bad night’s sleep (the night before was 8 hours) plus I woke to that migraine and feeling sick. Still, don’t know that the two are related. I’m feeling much better, and I will be listening again tonight.
- Inspired Action: Aside from updating the blog, today I used the fact of being in town to go to the growers market that runs once a week – got some fresh herbs to plant for my balcony. You’ve got the thoughts I had on reading the manual included above – that’s another. I also went through and commented on a blog post I got via email that touched a chord, so I shared (including my link, so if you’re here because of it, welcome!). Finally, I’ve decided that this weekend I’m going to go through my mind movie for last year and review it against what actually happened, and post a new video response. You’ll probably see it Sunday (too big to do tonight, I want SOME sleep before my trip in the morning!)
So, all in all, today’s been a good day. Not only did I get back up from whatever had me down for the past few days, but even better I had a call from a friend I haven’t seen in ages telling me she’s in the area, so we met up for coffee and a catchup chat. She was doing some house searching, so I shared what I knew of the area, and got the lovely compliment back that she thinks I’m “a mine of information”. Always nice to hear that kind of thing π
One other thing – it’s strange, but I’ve noticed the last few days I’ve been breaking things accidentally a bit, which is very unlike me. Why I mention it is that instead of thinking “oh, no” when it happens, I’m almost feeling grateful for the simplification it represents. The hand blender stopped working the other day, when the blade shaft came loose and it wasn’t engaging with the motor. I tossed it straight out and thought ‘One less appliance I have to worry about’. Then today, I was reaching for a bowl and knocked down a coffee plunger I’ve had for several years. Mostly, it’s the boyfriend that uses it, to be honest. It fell and smashed, and my reaction was firstly gratitude, because where it fell meant the glass didn’t spread everywhere and was easy to pick up, and secondly that it, too, meant one less thing in my possessions list. It’s not as though I suddenly want to get rid of everything I own, but more like, with an intense focus on what I’ve decided is important, the things that lie outside that are feeling more like unnecessary trimmings. So, if something gets removed, it’s cause for gratitude instead of upset.
This could be very handy – just think how much less cleaning I could end up with!! π
One final thought, and a question. It occurred to me that it could be useful to plot out how I would have liked to have approached this manifestation thing on a gradual basis, if I was just introducing one new thing at a time and building a routine that way. Of course, while I was expecting to find myself laid off within a month that wasn’t how I was going to do it, but for other people in less dire situations it might be handy – comment back and let me know if you think it’s worth me putting my time into. Would you use a guide like that?
Now we’re getting a fair way through, I figure it’s probably time to put up direct links to the post that started it all, as well as the first day of it. Those will show up on all the posts from here on in, if I’ve done my work right.
Today’s post is a lot late. I’m writing it on Day 19, actually, but I’m still going to post them separately. Yesterday, after the extreme highs I got to the day before, I seemed to totally crash and burn in the opposite direction. Woke up with sweat welts that meant there was no way I could exercise, barely dragged myself out of bed to get to work, got home and just collapsed. I did very little of the routine for today, although I did manage to watch the mind movie 3 times, which did help lift the energy a bit. Nothing else seemed to penetrate the fog enough for me to actually get motivated to do it.
Of course the day was always going to be chaotic. Moving workplaces, and with a double swap of monitors because the one that the insurance company got wasn’t the one I’d been working on, so it had to get swapped with that one so I’d have the right one at the new spot. So, pack all my stuff to take up first thing, connecting with the guy taking me up there, swapping over the monitors and saying goodbye (it’s always hard, more so because these guys were so appreciative and I did love working with them, but the location and travel just made it impossible) then introducing myself to the new team in the middle of one of their busiest days and trying to get the essentials done before heading back down home to set up a temporary rig that would do me for Friday.
In a word, “mad”.
So, for completeness’ sake, here’s the checklist, but personally I don’t want to look…
- Manifestation course – Morning routine -> Started it, stalled at exercise with sweat sores that meant bike was out, didn’t go further to do the last 2 steps either.
- Daily Awakening OR Daily Email exercises (not going to push for both for a while) -> Nope. Reading this was meant to be the final step of the morning routine, so…
- 5mins of handbook -> Forgot to pack it. Came home to a migraine, didn’t feel like squinting at a book at all.
- Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk -> Nope
- Watch $5k per day Subliminal Video at least twice, work on getting to 20m. Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed -> Mind movie three times on the bus, got a smile going at least. With the headache coming home, I didn’t even turn the PC on (this entry is being posted up the day after)
- Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me. -> No, see above
- Blog update in evening & BWE track before sleep (combining these to one entry) -> Listened to BWE but didn’t do the blog – not on the day, anyway.
- Inspired Action: Couldn’t get as far as the inspired, let alone the action.
So, all in all not a very successful day, although one some level it must have happened for a reason – bringing the energy back to a more balanced level, maybe? I was getting very excited, after the Oprah stuff came up, but hey, it’s not every day a girl’s dearest wish looks like it could happen, is it?
I got stuck into the manual again after dinner, but part way through when it was talking about the 4 laws of manifestation, I started out thinking about how most people think that the law of attraction IS manifestation, and then run into trouble in ‘making it work’. It ties into something I’ve been arguing for a while now, about how so many people these days choose NOT to live their lives but run madly around trying to abdicate responsibility and immerse themselves in other people’s experiences. Look at reality tv. Of course, in a way I could be said to be catering to that with posting my blog online, but I hope that what I post gets you thinking, and maybe using some of what I go through in your own life, in which case it becomes a different beast entirely.
So, back to the topic. Why doesn’t “manifestation” or the law of attraction work for some people. Well, bottom line is, I believe it does, but what leads those people to believe it isn’t working is a whole other question, and that’s where I want to explore with this post.
I believe there are 3 main reasons why people could develop the belief that they don’t create their own lives. Four if you count those people who decide that they don’t want it to be true and so refuse to look at anything that will prove them wrong. Ironically they are proving it by creating an experience that doesn’t force them to believe in the laws of attraction in any case! So, back to the three.
First, not knowing what you want is a killer. It’s very hard to manifest in generic terms. By definition it’s not going to exactly match what you expected. Think of it this way: imagine you have a nephew whose birthday is coming up, so you ask him what he wants. Scenario 1: He says “whatever” and you spend two weeks running around trying to get something that he won’t hate, probably, since you’re focusing on your fear of him not liking it, ending up with something he doesn’t like. Scenario 2: He tells you that he’d love to get the latest add-on gadget for his current electronic game console, but it has to be black, to match. You go to the games store and pick it up that afternoon. How quickly could you deliver on the second scenario, versus the first one? The clearer you are with what you want, the easier it is for the transaction to happen.
Second issue is responsibility. It seems to have become a dirty word. Too many people are looking for someone else to blame, for absolutely everything. When it gets to the stage where people are too frightened to help out in an emergency because they are afraid they’ll be blamed and held hostage over the outcome, you know it’s gotten ridiculous. The irony is, by giving away responsibility for your life, you’re giving away your own power over it. If it’s someone else’s fault, that also means it’s under someone else’s control – not yours. If it’s under YOUR control, yes you’ll hold the blame, but you also hold the benefits, and best of all, the ability to choose or change it. Bottom line, if you don’t believe you have the power to direct your own life, then how are you going to believe in your ability to change it?
Third and final blockage is action, but this one has a hidden side to it. I’m talking about the situation where you believe you can make a change, but for some reason, you just don’t do what you know is needed to bring it about. In most cases, I believe it comes down to fear. More, though, it comes down to a refusal to face our fears. If we look head on and say, ok, if I do this, the worst thing that could happen is x, then usually we’ll either think of a solution to address x if it happens, or find a way that reduces the risk. Turning away, though, the ‘worst case’ becomes big and vague, something that’s impossible to grapple with. So we don’t. And in giving in to our impulses to avoid fear, we end up missing out on all the joy that comes with success as well. Remember the book “Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway”? If it didn’t strike a chord then how did it become so popular…
Three steps or gateways, but let me be clear: you don’t have to pass through them all to succeed at manifestation. You are ALREADY succeeding at manifesting. But you have to ask yourself: are you manifesting what your fears create for you, or travelling the path of your dreams? That’s what the gateways represent, steps in acknowledging and claiming the power within each and every one of us, so that we can take conscious control of our power, and of our own lives.
I wish you well on the journey.

Bounce, Bounce, Bounce, Bounce, BOUNCE!!! Can you tell I’m excited??? This Goals dialog stuff is UNBELIEVABLE. Three things to tell you today.
To start off, the context: My last day at the remote office, and my supervisor away so it was a quiet one. Got a few things set up and ready to go for the new place, and printed up some stuff to work on while the monitor’s in transit. I got two very different responses to my thank you letters, but funnily enough they exactly matched how much intensity I’d put into writing them. Hmm, curious that.
Anyway, late yesterday I had an email sent to me from one of the job search sites I’d listed my CV on. It didn’t have a lot of details so I sent back asking for a bit more clarification – it sounded like it could have been one of those ‘business opportunity’ things that target job-seekers (that’s just wrong, isn’t it?) so I wanted to make sure. Today I got the rest of the details. It almost perfectly matched what I said I wanted to manifest, if I had to continue working. I thought I’d been careful about what I asked for, except that I failed to mention I wanted something that wasn’t a scam. Option number 3 said:
3. If not, then earning consultancy fees or some other income online that matched or exceeded my current earnings would allow me the freedom to take my time building up the passive side in any case.
- This was for a consultancy, acting as their ‘representative’, so that bit matched.
- Online income, matching or exceeding current earnings – another tick. Slightly higher than now.
- Allowing freedom to take my time building up my passive income: it was meant to be 6-8hrs per week. That definitely would allow freedom and time.
Since the original letter might have been a broadcast, in case anyone else is doing the same scam searches I did, the company ( magnus-online.com ) doesn’t come up in any online scam alert listings, and neither does the name of the person who replied to my email, but when I checked the domain it was only registered on the 5th of February this year. That’s only just over a week ago. It was only registered for a year, another red flag. The advice they gave you about not having to pay tax as an independent consultant is in direct contradiction to Australian Tax Office rulings (I looked them up), and the organisation they said they’re registered with to give them a tax status in Australia is a tax-advice hotline that anyone can join online, membership gives you 4 calls for advice per year, not tax-legitimacy. The explanation of what they said the job entailed pretty much matched exactly the criteria for “money laundering scams” at scamwatch.gov.au.
Aside from that, though, I’m getting closer to manifesting the top options!
Now, for the really exciting bit! When I first got my Mind Movie kit I entered their competition and loaded my own movie up to you-tube. As part of it, I put in the people I’d love to meet and talk with, Oprah being first and foremost. (Can you tell I let my dreams run free?) Anyhow, today I got an email from them saying that they were looking for stories of what people had managed to manifest, for an Oprah Special revising “The Secret”. Needless to say, that definitely hit the inspired action list and I clicked through right then!
Being in Australia, I’m going to take it as an ‘on track’ sign since they might not necessarily want to fly me over there to talk with her face to face, but over the phone would be great, and even her reading my blog would be a dialog of sorts (especially if she commented…). I’ve been buzzing and bouncing ever since the email came through! Seriously, I said my old wish list stuff has been showing up while I’ve been doing this trial, and this would have to be the equivalent of the number one spot on my overall wishlist, even if I didn’t include it while I was focusing this experiment on the job front. I just can’t stop thinking about it, and feeling that energy rush, which I hope will help make it happen.
Wouldn’t it be poetic if the Mind Movie I made saying I wanted to meet Oprah resulted in me meeting Oprah to talk about what I’d manifested from the Mind Movie I made?
Finally, when my sceptic “realist” (read: pessimist) partner dropped me off in my driveway this afternoon from picking me up, I opened the door and turned back to him. I said “You know how I’m manifesting money at the moment”. He said “Yeah, kinda”. I leaned over, and picked up a $2 coin sitting on the driveway right under my door.
He still thinks it’s just a coincidence π I know it means I’ve graduated one level up – not that I object to the 3 lottery cheques I’ve got so far, but I’m now getting cold hard cash coming my way!!! Roll on!
Checklist for today:
Manifestation course – Morning routine -> Did it first thing as planned, even put the sprint in again so I’d go a little further than yesterday. So much for taking the exercise slowly – I don’t think I’m capable of doing less than 110% π
- Daily Awakening OR Daily Email exercises (not going to push for both for a while) -> Daily awakening, again not really an awareness exercise you can do locked out in a demountable with a computer and your only company is also staring at computers… Going to have fun with all the exercises this weekend, I think.
- 5mins of handbook -> Haven’t done that yet. It’s still early, so I’ll do that after dinner, before bed. I’ll update you what I’m up to tomorrow.
- Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk -> I was so charged up after the Oprah stuff I was running around doing it anyway, without having to try.
- Watch $5k per day Subliminal Video at least twice, work on getting to 20m. Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed -> Didn’t get to play the $5k per day video until I got home today, so since watching it repeat puts me to sleep, what I did was set my watch timer to chime in 10m, watch it, set it again. Got through all 7 reps while doing my hour online! No problems with running Mind Movie. I look forward to that. Especially singing along to the lyrics of “Unwritten”
- Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me. -> Yes, I just wanted to get straight on and take more inspired actions – the closer your dreams get the more you want to do!
- Blog update in evening & BWE track before sleep (combining these to one entry) -> Done and done. Yet again relying on BWE, although I did get 4 hours sleep. Combined with my nap yesterday and the energy today generated that seemed to be enough. I’m writing this early today so I can get to bed after watching House, which comes back on tonight. I’m not ashamed to admit it, I’m an addict.
- Inspired Action: No need to tell you more on this one! Replies to Mind Movies and Oprah, of course! Does picking up the money I found count as an inspired action?
The routine has certainly kicked up a notch now I’ve added my goals walk in. Even the guided meditation seems more powerful. I also trialled playing my $5k once per hour instead of in a block, which seemed to work well. Today I found that I’m noticing the tension I’m carrying around a bit more, but that could be circumstances (see below) and hopefully means that I’m ready to release it and get to a new level of relaxation. The Manifestation Course I’m basing this experiment on has launched and gone live again (I got in on pre-launch) so I was going to go check if one of them was on stress relief like I thought I remembered, but they’re having a bit of traffic congestion due to popularity at the moment so I’ll leave it for now.
On the mundane level, tomorrow’s my last day at my current workplace, although I don’t start at the transfer til Monday. I’m working Thursday & Friday, just one day will be setting up and handing over, the other will be at an improvised workstation after my current one is relocated. I’m not sure how well I’ll be able to stick with the routine over the next few days, might end up with a few late nights again, but will do my best.
Not sure what it means, but today I stumbled across a ‘messy office’ competition with a $10,000 prize. Considering I’m still only half unpacked from moving in, that could have potential. I have already benefited, though, because flicking through the photos I no longer feel I have such a problem π
Checklist for today:
- Manifestation course – Morning routine -> Seriously wanted to skip the exercise again, but didn’t. Even put in a sprint bit to make it interesting. I’m not going to vary this one for the next week, so it can go into the ‘autopilot’ routine when I’m first up but still not awake. Might have a better chance then π
- Daily Awakening OR Daily Email exercises (not going to push for both for a while) -> Daily awakening, but a lot of this stuff is all but impossible to implement while you’re at work. Be a lot easier if I was doing this full time like Steve Pavlina! Oh well, it’s the challenges that make life interesting, right?
- 5mins of handbook -> Another 5 pages, up to p43 now. Am getting the nuts and bolts of how to do the ‘goals walk’ and dialoging which is making a huge difference
- Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk -> Again I split this across lunch and after getting home. It’s a bit intense to do all in one session until I get a bit more used to it, I think. Working a treat, though – I’m feeling stuff change on an energy level.
- Watch $5k per day Subliminal Video at least twice, work on getting to 20m. Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed -> Played the $5k per day subliminal video once an hour today, still with the sound off. We had a brief rain squall but aside from that it was a lovely day. Wasn’t even anywhere near home time and I’d already been for my walk at lunch, so the timing was perfect. Mind movie happened twice.
- Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me. -> Same again. Finally getting comments and now that I’ve got the subscriber count it’s a real buzz to see there’s someone out there reading! Thanks guys!!!
- Blog update in evening & BWE track before sleep (combining these to one entry) -> Done and done. Will need BWE again – after spending this afternoon relaxing and meditating etc, then doing all my thank you cards and organising for tomorrow, I got on a bit late, so the clock’s ticked over again. On the bright side, I did get a half hour snooze when I got home to make up for yesterday. Hmm. Is this turning into an experiment on multiphasic sleep???
- Inspired Action: Well, after having written a few days ago (day 11 or 12) how it would be really cool if I could manifest a ticket to Rich Schefren’s latest conference, he’s announced a competition to win one. I’ve put in! My entry is here. Wish me luck?
