Opportunities knocking

It’s funny, but this week having made the decision that I intended to get my mortgage cleared, it seems like a few of the circuits closed for me mentally. I’ve clarified in my mind the path I intend to follow (although I know it may end up changing, but at least for now it seems to be the right one) and as soon as I did, started getting connections and offers that were directly targeted to what I chose, or maybe felt prompted, to do.

I’ve had clear evidence that there should be no problems in fitting it in around my day job. Someone else there, it turns out, is doing something similar. I’ve just been copied in on a new course directly on how to do it, which I got at a discount because it’s just been released (if you’re interested, the link is here) and best of all, I’ve made a couple of new connections that will directly help me get there! When you get all those little confirmations, it’s pretty certain you’re following the right track, so I’m feeling very confident right now.

The morning routine didn’t happen every day this week, for one reason or another, but last time I did this it took a while to build up to 100% compliance in any case. I’m not going to beat myself around the head over it, the fact is I DID manage to do it more often than not so I’ll work on improving my averages from there. I’m a big believer in working up to things instead of going all out at the start and falling over from exhaustion when you’re only half way to the finish line. Been there, done that. Didn’t work, obviously.

So, plan for this week is to go through the course materials and maybe build up the network a bit more. I’m getting in the habit of keeping notes of my thoughts & journalling a lot more.
