I got an email the other day about a lady who had an incredible track record of success with LOA, and a slightly different take on it to what I do. She was offering book 1 of her trilogy on special at only $17, so I couldn’t resist. I bought it, printed it up, and started reading.
Eventually, sometime after midnight I decided I would have to go to sleep at some stage, since I had to leave for work at 6am…
On the train to work, I got stuck into it again, and was amazed how fast the trip went - I didn’t want to put it down again. Hers was one ABSORBING and fascinating story. I decided at lunch I’d treat myself to a break from the office, and ended up taking a longer lunch than usual (I’ll just finish this chapter…) The train on the way home ended up being the last of it, and I finished it thinking how much I wanted to know more.
So I splurged, and arranged to get the next two books. It took me a bit of time to get them downloaded, but eventually I did.
These were (are) INTENSE and absolutely full of information. Book 2 and the “Playbook” work together, so you read part of one, go do the exercises in the other, go back to read more… I’m a fast reader but you just can’t rush this process. I don’t think you’d even want to.
A day into starting it, I found myself having manifested $50 on top of my day job income - I had a lottery win, found some cash on the ground, and got paid $14 in affiliate commissions for a product I reviewed a while back. Nice! I told my sister, and joked around that next I’d have to add a zero and have a $500 weekend.
10am this morning (Saturday) I logged into my email to find I’d received a quarterly payout for another affiliate program which I reviewed over 6 months ago. $196.11! I’ve never got a payout from that program before, so I found it amazing the first one was so high. I logged in to double check, and found out that 576 people had clicked through from the article I wrote about it! I didn’t even know my little blog had that many readers… That pushed my balance over $200, just from surprise income, and more than covered the cost of what I’d spent buying the book - not that it was a consideration, being one of the best reads I’ve had in a long while.
Anyway, needless to say, I got REALLY REALLY EXCITED! I’m curious to see how the rest of the weekend pans out - and I’m only up to Chapter 8….not even having started most of the really powerful things she’s showing me how to do!
I’ve decided, this is definitely going to be the subject of my next 30 day trial - starting today! (Not bad considering I haven’t even got through the book yet)
